A new scientific paper on BioBran/MGN-3 has been published by a research team led by Mai Alaa El-Dein, Doaa A. Ali, and Mamdooh H. Ghoneum. The paper is titled “Biobran/MGN-3, Arabinoxylan Rice Bran, Ameliorates the Liver Architecture in Ehrlich Ascites Tumor-Bearing Mice as a Cotreatment with Chemotherapy.”

This preclinical study investigated BioBran/MGN-3, alone and in combination with paclitaxel, using an Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) mouse model. The study evaluated tumor volume and weight, liver function markers including AST, ALT, and γGT, and histological changes in liver tissue. The histological assessments included liver tissue architecture, collagen deposition, and Kupffer cells.
