New Research Publication: BioBran Demonstrates Modulatory Effects on Glutamatergic Burst Activity in Human iPS Cell–Derived Neuronal Networks

A new scientific paper on BioBran has been published by a research group led by Dr. Basant K. Puri of Cambridge Advanced Research. The paper is entitled Modulation of Glutamatergic Burst Activity by Hydrolysed Arabinoxylan Rice Bran: A Multielectrode Array Study in Human-Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-Derived Neurones and Astrocytes.

Using a human iPS cell–derived neuronal network, the study suggests that BioBran may help support efficient neuronal communication even under conditions of excessive neural excitation, indicating potential relevance for future Alzheimer’s disease research.
