DHDUSA Inc., US-based affiliate of Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan - President: Yasuo Ninomiya) exhibited its main product at the Natural Product Expo West held at the Anaheim Convention Center from March 23rd to 26th, 2006. A record-setting number of visitors exceeding 43,000 came to the Expo and more than 3,000 exhibitors from various countries set up their booths at the nation's largest health food trade show.

DHDUSA Inc. exhibited PeakImmune4, a product containing BioBran (rice bran Arabinoxylan derivative). Possibly because of the recent trend in the U.S. towards Japanese food, especially rice, the highly health food-conscious visitors enthusiastically asked many questions on the rice bran derivative, Arabinoxylan.

DHDUSA Inc. is running a detailed sales campaign. Product promotion through a popular radio health program is starting this April targeting the large supplement markets, such as Chicago, San Francisco, New York and Orlando, and a huge demand is expected in these areas. DHDUSA Inc. will work on product recognition as well as boosting sales through the effective utilization of various media networks.
