Daiwa Health Development (DHD USA), the US subsidiary of Daiwa Pharmaceutical (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President: Yasuo Ninomiya), exhibited at Natural Product Expo East held at Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C., USA from September 16th to 18th, 2005.

The exhibition is one of the largest for the natural product retailers in the US, held every spring in Anaheim, fall in Washington, D.C. It is highly acclaimed among related companies as well as pharmaceutical and food societies. In total of both spring and fall, approximately 1,200 exhibitors and total of 40,000 people attended the show every year.

DHDUSA placed “PeakImmune4”, a newly developed Arabinoxylan product, on the US market in July, 2005 ahead of the market needs. The product is distributed to the natural food and supplement chain stores across the country through OTC sale retailers. The OTC sales have started in full swing as distribution to the supplement chain stores began nation widely.

The purposes of exhibiting at the show are to introduce “PeakImmune4” to natural food stores, to gain product recognition, and distributional improvement. The large number of retailers visited our booth during the show and our initial goals were achieved.

DHD Inc. will be exhibiting at Natural Product Expo West next March in Anaheim. Preparation for the show is now ongoing.
