Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has attained ISO9001:2000 Certification

Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. as a whole company including Tsukuba Plant/Laboratory and Tokyo Head Office, attained ISO9001:2000 Certification for the international quality management system as defined by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) on December 16, 2002.
Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has so far been giving the highest priority to customer satisfaction based on the company philosophy, "To conduct research/development/manufacturing of the products and services necessary for human by utilizing the intelligence and technology of bioscience." Considering the further globalization and informatization of the world, the company has applied for ISO9001:2000 Certification as a corporate passport in the 21st century. Mr. Ninomiya, President, emphasizes the responsibilities of manufacturers engaged in producing products that customers eat, saying, "The acquisition of ISO9001:2000 Certification is not the end, but the beginning of the future."
With this accreditation, the legitimacy of Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. as a social body has been recognized, and the company intends to ensure safety by further focusing on evidence in future research/development/manufacturing of the products.
The expansion of the Tsukuba Plant is underway and is aiming to acquire HACCP certification.
