Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has renewed the formulation and package design of "NKCP"

Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. renewed the formulation and package design of "NKCP," a nattokinase-containing food, one of its major products, in September. The product was popular in various fields before it was launched in November 2001. An experiment on the efficacy of nattokinase, the main component, was introduced in TV programs such as "News Plus One" by Nippon Television Network and "Hakkutsu! Aru Aru Daijiten (in Japanese)" by Fuji Television, etc.
The changes are based on the results of research/studies repeatedly conducted even after the launch and the major points are shown below.
■ Renewal of the outer carton (package design)
■ Product formulation: Tablets (changed from capsules)
■ The quantity of the contents: 300 mg×120 tablets
　　(changed from 132 mg×90 capsules)
■ Price: \9,000 (changed from \6,800)
NKCP powder (the dried culture filtrate of B. subtilis natto) is available for OEM and in bulk supply, and as well as sales in Japan, its export to Europe/the US and Southeast Asia has increased, and its market is expanding across the world.
