Following "The International BioBran Workshop@2009", Daiwa Pharmaceutical held a "BioBran International Distributors Meeting" in Shinagawa, Tokyo. A total of 21 companies from the United States, Europe and Asia participated in the meeting and over 30 people exchanged opinions concerning the marketing of BioBran.
The representatives of distributors in Australia (Phytocare Pty Ltd.), Indonesia (PT Ferron Par Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), Germany (BMT Limited), Thailand (Tion Biotech Co., Ltd.), and the U.S. (DHD USA) made presentations on their marketing plans. The audience actively exchanged opinions and asked many questions at the Q&A session, which made for a very dynamic meeting.
Sales promotion tools displayed in the hall attracted much more interest than expected from the distributors involved. Later, the participants and other members visited our Tsukuba Plant and Tsukuba Laboratory. To produce assured, safe, and reliable products, our Tsukuba Plant sought and obtained ISO9001 certification and introduced HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) practices. Accordingly, the visitors were impressed during the tour by the high quality equipment backed up with strict quality control and meticulous production control.
Our researcher, Ms. Xia Zhu, made a presentation titled "Effect of BioBran on macrophage activation
" at the plant, and this attracted a number of questions as well.
Currently, our BioBran has been marketed in 46 countries worldwide and it has gained an excellent reputation not only with sales distributors but also with health professionals including doctors. Therefore, Daiwa Pharmaceutical will continue to hold this type of international distributors' meeting and international workshops such as the latest BioBran workshop to keep up with demand.
