From March 6 to March 8, our US subsidiary, Daiwa Health Development, Inc. (DHD USA) participated in the "Natural Products Expo West" exhibition held at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, US, exhibiting our major product lines. The exhibition was held by New Hope Natural Media.

Companies from all over the world, in fields including natural foods, health foods and health food ingredients, take part in this event, which attracts over 50,000 visitors each year, and has received a strong response from companies with an interest in the health industry, and workers in the field of medicine with an interest in functional foods.

At this year's event, the products on show from DHD USA included "PeakImmune 4," (BioBran) and "Plasmanex 1" (NKCP). More than 1000 visitors came to the booth over the exhibition period, and some extremely enthusiastic question-and-answer sessions were seen.

Daiwa Pharmaceutical views the US, Canada and Central America as a strategically important area, and plans to continue progress on marketing campaigns looking towards the future, including the expansion of our sales routes to physicians.
