Daiwa Pharmaceutical exhibited its leading products again this year in “Health Ingredients Japan 2008” (organized by CMP Japan, sponsored by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, etc.), which was held from 15 to 17 October, at Tokyo Big Sight.

This time, Daiwa showcased three products: BioBran, an increasingly popular product overseas as well as in Japan; NKCP, known for nattoprotease; and Rice Kefiran, which is produced from the pure culture of Lactobacillus kefiranofaciens with rice (the staple food of the Japanese) as the medium.

The reliability and safety of the products, ensured by evidence-based studies, are our first priority. Our booth had an ongoing stream of visitors, who were enthusiastically asking questions and seeking advice on the products. We also participated once again in the exhibitors' presentations, where Manager of the Research and Development Department, Hisayoshi Kato presented the latest research findings in a presentation titled “The effect of long term intake of nattoprotease on changes in subjective synmptoms.”

Daiwa hopes to continue providing accurate information on its products and services through participating in similar exhibitions in the future.
