“Arab Health 2008,” a large-scale exhibition in the Middle East (sponsored by IIR [Institute for International Research] Middle East) was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on January 28-31, 2008. Daiwa Pharmaceutical have displayed/introduced “LENTIN PLUS 1000,” ”NKCP” (purified filtrate of Bucillus subtilis natto culture), and “Rice Kefiran” (phytogalactoglucan from LK-lactobacillus culture with rice medium) in cooperation with local sales agents.

This event was the world's largest health care exhibition for pharmaceutical products, medical devices and health foods, where approximately 2,400 companies from over 65 countries worldwide exhibited, and approximately 50,000 people visited. Our booth received visits from hospital workers such as doctors and nurses, nutritional specialists, and health care-related companies. They paid special attention to “LENTIN PLUS 1000” sold for a long time in UAE. Daiwa is seeking further expansion of the market in Middle Eastern countries in cooperation with local sales agents and European subsidiary.
