In December 2002, our Tsukuba Plant and all departments of our Tokyo Head Office acquired ISO9001: 2000 certification (international quality management system) from the British accreditation organization “UKAS.” Since then, with the aim of effectively operating our management system, an internal audit has been periodically conducted and the above-mentioned organizations have been subjected to UKAS's annual maintenance examination.

The maintenance examination conducted on November 30, 2007 has concluded that our quality management system is effectively implemented in conformity with the conditions of the ISO9001: 2000 certification.

The examination conducted at this time was for the offices and warehouses of our Tokyo Head Office in order to verify whether our quality management system is effectively implemented in conformity with the conditions of the ISO9001: 2000 certification.

In the examination, whether continuous improvements have been made or not was inspected with special attention. As a result of the examination, it was verified that: our management system is established with enough reference to our quality policy and is effectively implemented and maintained; our business activities are properly managed by quality manuals, various regulations, quality records, etc. and these quality manuals, etc. are well complied with by our employees; and serious or significant complaints are not raised and we even immediately solve insignificant complaints. In 2008, the second examination for renewal of the ISO9001: 2000 certification will be conducted.

Since our foundation, we have continued to place top priority on customer satisfaction, and make every effort to develop and manufacture “safe products backed by scientific tests.” From now on, top management, quality management supervisors, and all employees of the ISO-certified company are firmly determined to make further efforts to realize continuous improvements.
