Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has launched "NKCP," a nattokinase-containing food

Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, President: Yasuo Ninomiya) started marketing "NKCP," a nattokinase-containing food on November 15.

Having long studied the physiological advantages of traditional Japanese foods to develop safe and beneficial functional food, Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was quick to pay attention to nattokinase contained in natto and has been working on a research project in collaboration with Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts (Prof. Hiroyuki Sumi) and Chiba University. As a result, we have succeeded in manufacturing a powder formulation with stable high activity while removing natto's distinctive taste and odor, which is an innovation, and have now launched the product.
