Daiwa to publish 2^nd revised edition of "BioBran/MGN-3: Basic and Clinical Application to Integrative Medicine"

Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan - President: Yasuo Ninomiya) will publish a 2^nd revised edition of the book of collected papers on BioBran (rice bran arabinoxylan derivative)(“BioBran/MGN-3: Basic and Clinical Application to Integrative Medicine”) from Iyaku Shuppan. Following publication of the first edition last year, the 2^nd edition will be available in March (\5,250 including tax).

The book contains papers and academic presentations on Daiwa's BioBran over the past 10 years. This additional publication has been eagerly awaited as the first edition was better received than expected. BioBran (marketed as “Lentin Plus”), our flagship product, remains the perennial favorite at home and abroad. The product is especially popular overseas where it is sold in some 39 countries. The fact that we have obtained process patents in Japan, the EU, the US, and nine other countries also attests to the soundness of the product.

To date, more than 20 articles and 50 academic presentations on BioBran have been acclaimed by universities and medical institutions. We will continue to conduct joint and commissioned testing with universities, medical institutions, and government agencies both at home and abroad to gather evidence, and President Ninomiya says that the company intends to expand the market into hospitals and clinics.
