Daiwa Pharmaceutical holds a seminar for pharmacies and drugstores
|

Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President, Yasuo Ninomiya) held a seminar for pharmacies and drug stores at Shinagawa East One Tower, Tokyo on October 22, 2006. This seminar was held because of the attention that Daiwa's flagship products BioBran and Nattoprotease have recently attracted among pharmacies and drugstores. A large number of people, including many pharmacists, attended the seminar.

Mr. Kazushi Komatsu of Komatsu Yakuhin gave a presentation entitled gThe development, maturation, and decay of our body defense immune systemh. He explained the changes that take place in the immune system with aging, pointing out that such changes are initiated at birth. The relationship between the immune system and the intestinal environment was the focus of the presentation, with the introduction of sufficient data on the relationship for the audience to be convinced of the explanation.

The latter half of the seminar was led by a presentation entitled gImmunoenhancement and BioBranh, given by Hisayoshi Kato, Department Manager of R&D at Daiwa. Kato described the changes in the immune system with BioBran on the basis of Daiwa's accumulated basic and clinical data.

Many questions and answers exchanged at the subsequent Qs and As session indicated a high level of concern about our products among the audience.

To get the message on our products across and to provide pharmacies and drugstores with information related to our products and health, we will continue to give these types of seminar, says Ninomiya.
