Daiwa holds BioBran Workshops in Asia

Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan - President: Yasuo Ninomiya), whose product BioBran has been attracting increasing attention in Asia and other parts of the world, recently held a BioBran workshop in Taiwan, and gave a BioBran presentation at an oncology meeting in Indonesia. The BioBran workshop was held last year in Taiwan and the Philippines, and also held this year in two of Taiwan's major cities (Taipei and Gaoxiong) on August 12 and 13, 2006. A total of 300 people gathered over the two days, including doctors, pharmacists, and customers. Dr. Ghoneum (M.D., Professor at UCLA/ Drew University) was invited to give a presentation on clinical cases of hepatitis C treated with BioBran. The audience was attentive during the whole 3-hour presentation, with an active Q&A session afterwards. The workshop ended successfully.

Daiwa's Indonesian distributor exhibited BioBran as well as gave presentations on BioBran and immunity at Kongres Nasional V Perhimpunan Onkologi Indonesia, an international oncology meeting on September 10. The company president also provided an introduction of Daiwa Pharmaceutical, the developer and manufacturer of BioBran. Immunotherapy is a rather new field in Indonesia and it has received much attention, mainly from oncologists. The presentation room was full.

Today, BioBran is sold in 38 countries. Daiwa has established a firm position in the Asian market through workshops and other activities. “As part of our company's mission, we will continue to engage in these types of events worldwide,” President Ninomiya says enthusiastically.
